This broccoli stir fry is super quick to prepare, doesn’t need too many ingredients and is very healthy! Packed with crunchy veggies, fresh herbs, and flavorful soy sauce, this recipe is super healthy and delicious.
You can eat the dish for lunch or dinner. It’s also great for meal prep.
What do you need for the broccoli stir fry?
Broccoli
The star of this dish is broccoli. This is chopped very small here, so it combines wonderfully with the remaining ingredients.
I just used my food processor to chop the broccoli. Of course, you can chop the broccoli into small pieces with a large knife.
Rice
You can use any type of rice for this dish. I have already cooked the dish with long-grain rice and brown wild rice and it was delicious both.
Veggies
In addition to the broccoli, I use red bell peppers, carrots, spring onions, and garlic. You can also easily modify the recipe and use other types of vegetables. You can also use onion instead of spring onion. Leek also goes well with the dish.
Herbs
For the broccoli stir fry, I use fresh herbs to round off the pan dish. You can use fresh coriander here as well as parsley.
Soy Sauce
The broccoli recipe is rounded off with a spicy sauce made from soy sauce, maple syrup, tapioca starch, and water. You can replace the tapioca starch with regular starch if you like. Feel free to play with the ratio of soy sauce and water. If you like it a little saltier, I recommend using more soy sauce and less water.
