What do you need for the creamy pear porridge?

Porridge/Oats:

  • 40 grams of rolled oats
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 450 ml milk (oat milk)

Pears:

  • 1 pear
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • maple syrup
  • water
  • 2 tbsp pecans

How to make the breakfast porridge

  1. Blend all the ingredients for the oats in a blender.
  2. Now place the oat mixture in a small saucepan and heat over medium-high heat. Stir occasionally so it doesn’t burn.
  3. In the meantime, wash, core and dice the pear.
  4. Heat the pears together with the cinnamon and a sip of water in a coated pan and simmer for 3-5 minutes until the pears are nice and soft.
  5. Now add some maple syrup and the pecans to the pears and continue to simmer for 1 more minute.
  6. Pour the warm porridge into 2 bowls and top with the caramelized pears.
