This vegan spinach matcha smoothie bowl is packed with antioxidiants, fibre, vitamins and minerals. It’s made with pineapple, spinach & matcha powder and makes a creamy fresh bowl, which is perfect for breakfast or lunch.
This combination will give you a lot of energy – especially due to the caffein of the Matcha Powder. I usually have this Spinach Matcha Smoothie Bowl for breakfast, when I know a busy day is lying ahead of me. The green components of spinach and matcha are well balances by the sweetness of pineapple. It’s a great alternative to the Pineapple Peach Smoothie Bowl or my Pink Raspberry Smoothie Bowl.

Nutrition Facts
Matcha: As a japanese green tea, Matcha became very popular over the last years. The green tea tea contains valuable antioxidants that protect the body against free radicals, work against inflammation and can provide healthy arteries. Furthermore it contains the amino acid L-Theanine, which can provide relaxation and stress reduction. Matcha also provides energy due to the caffeine, which lasts longer than caffeine from coffe. While caffeine from coffee is released immediatly by contacting stomach acid, Matcha coffein is released only in the gut. This different process leads to the effect, that the Matcha effect occurs later and lasts longer.
Spinach: Spinach contains antioxidants, which protect against ageing and help to reduce the risk of diabetes and cancer. Spinach is also rich in carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin, which can improve the health of the eyes by protecting against eye damages. The vegetable also contains nitrate, which can regulate blood pressure and help to improve heart health.
Fresh Pineapple: Pineapples give a great sweetness to this bowl and they are loaded with lots of nutrients and antioxidants, which improve immunity and are good for digestion.
Banana: Bananas contain several vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Consuming bananas in a regular way, helps to improve hearth and digestive health.
