How to make Vegan Raw Caramel Slices - Healthy and simple Caramel Slices Recipe - Australian Style and Gluten free

These vegan caramel slices will make you addicted! They have been one of my favorite desserts for several months now and are regularly prepared and devoured.

The three layers harmonize wonderfully: The base layer of dates and nuts is perfectly rounded off by the creamy Tahini caramel layer and the coated chocolate layer. On top of that, the dessert contains no sugar, no gluten and can therefore be enjoyed without any doubts 🙂

When I met a dear friend in Australia, she luckily shared this delicacy with me. Maybe you can taste a bit of sunny Australia in the tasty almonds? 🙂 The great thing about these vegan caramel slices is, that you can enjoy them in any season. On hot summer days, I like to pack the shape in the freezer, so they are really nice and cold. In winter, you can enjoy them slightly cooled from the fridge.

Can you substitute maple syrup for the honey?

Hi Brenda! Yes sure, you can use honey instead if you’d like. I’ve never tried it with honey, but it should definitely work. Maybe you might need a bit more of it, but I would just taste and see when it is sweet enough for you. Enjoy your caramel slices 🙂
