Aside from savory dishes such as my Vegan Pumpkin Kale Curry or my Kale Stir-Fry with Chickpeas and Buckwheat Recipe, I also wanted to use this nutrition superstar for a sweet breakfast recipe. If you follow me for a while, you know that I’m addicted to smoothie bowls for breakfast. So it’s no surprise I came up with a green, fresh kale smoothie bowl.
Kale has many nutritional benefits. With a lot of vitamins (A, K, C, B6), Calcium, Copper and much more, kale is among the most nutrient-dense foods in existence. Prepared in the right way, kale is also delicious!
Topping for you green kale smoothie bowl
When it comes to toppings, there are many many options. For this green smoothie bowl my favorites include:
- Homemade Granola
- Fresh Pomegranate
- Hemp Seeds
- Fresh Banana
- 2 bananas
- 2 hands full of fresh kale
- 1/2 pineapple
- dash of dairy-free milk (like soy milk)
- 1 tsp spirulina powder
- 1 cm fresh ginger
- 1 banana
- fresh pomegranate
- peanut butter
- 1 kiwi
- Blend all the ingredients in your blender and put your toppings on top.
